Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. She was the daughter of Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, and their mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix displayed an early talent for sports when she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting ability at the at the time. Within 10 weeks of her first tryout she came third in the 200 meter event during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003 signed a sports contract with Adidas. Then she was accepted into an institution called the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix's first Olympic medal came at the 2004 Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. Felix set the world junior record by the 200m race in 22.18 seconds. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her becoming the youngest female to win the 200 meter race. In 2007 she defended that title, beating her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She always finished at the top of the podium in the events.
